1 – FUTURE VISION ON EUROPEAN COOPERATION IN EDUCATION
The first part of this project focused on a “FUTURE VISION ON EUROPEAN COOPERATION IN EDUCATION”. This included research on best practice examples of already well-functioning learning communities throughout Europe with corresponding success factors as well as a strategy report on the organisational knowledge society as a driver of development in the school system and organisational concepts for informal communities.
The first substantive part of the project concludes with a policy paper presenting key and core messages of regional learning communities in theoretical form and recommendations for next steps for those responsible in the different educational sectors: policy makers and school authorities, school administrators and teachers.
All findings were incorporated into the development of the curriculum for “Learning Community Facilitators”.
The best practice examples are available in 5 different languages.

2 – CURRICULUM FOR LEARNING COMMUNITY FACILITATORS
Building on the research, in this project we created a curriculum for Learning Community Facilitators. In this case, the addressed facilitators are teachers, regional education actors from the school environment but also interested parents, who are seen in their role as initiators and stimulators for networking and development of learning communities. The curriculum can be adapted to individual needs or other learning formats. In this project, the curriculum was divided into two learning formats (offline workshops and online self-study) and comprises a total volume of 4 ECTS. The curriculum consists of 20 modules, each with a general learning objective and 5 fine learning objectives. In addition to the curriculum, a teacher’s manual was created that describes implementation suggestions and concrete methods for achieving the learning objectives described in the curriculum.
Furthermore, a scaling strategy was developed to show the further ongoing activities and actions of the organizations involved in the project to further support the creation and establishment of (regional) learning communities and to disseminate the great benefits of these communities.

3 – LEARNING MATERIALS FOR LEARNING COMMUNITIES FACILITATORS
Based on the curriculum, the Learning Community Facilitator course was created with a total of 20 learning modules in an online learning environment. The course was planned and created for delivery in a blended learning format with two workshops of 5 days each and two online self-learning phases. The animations and impulse videos available in the course for the respective modules can be played on Youtube as a playlist.
The course is available in English and German.

4 – MATCHING AND COLLABORATION PLATFORM FOR REGIONAL LEARNING PEERS
The final result developed in this project is a European MATCHING PLATFORM for teachers, where teachers can meet online with other like-minded teachers using parameters they set themselves in advance. These parameters include professional background as well as interests and collaboration preferences.
The matching platform then offers networking suggestions that
a) lead to a simple exchange because a high level of similar interests or common topics has been identified, or
b) lead to active networking for concrete project activities.
